A couple of scenes of Year of the Comet were filmed in Glen Coe. The first shows Margaret Harwood (Penelope Ann Miller) driving along the A82 though Glen Coe near the mountains known as the Three Sisters. She then arrives at her hotel which was the Kings House Hotel at the eastern end of Glen Coe.
