Two Thousand Acres of Sky (2001 - 2003)

 Abby Wallace, a single mother with two young children, living on a housing estate in London spots an appeal asking young families to move to the remote Scottish island of Ronansay. Abby decides to apply but to meet the requirements she needs a husband. She asks her best friend Kenny to play the part. Two Thousand Acres of Sky was mainly filmed around Port Logan in Dumfries and Galloway.
