The tree that the three heroes climb to escape the lions in Quest for Fire was located near the eastern edge of Glen Coe looking towards the mountain known as Buchaille Etive Mor (on the left of the picture). The tree was a prop for the movie - just as well, as it had no leaves left at the end of the scene!
