The Bridge The Bridge

Near the Meeting of the Three Waters in Glen Coe is the filming location for the Bridge of Death. This rope bridge was built over a narrow gorge.

In the 27 years since the movie was made a lot of trees have grown and they now obscure the view. Obscured enough, in fact, to make you doubt that this was actually the filming location! However it is shown as so in the locations documentary on the recent DVD release of the movie.
