The A87 near Sheil Bridge appears in several scenes of the series. One filming location was at the junction of the small road to Morlich (fake road signs erected to Aberdeen and John O' Groats via A9). This location was where Michael Priest (Morgan Jones) was dropped off to hitch to Aberdeen after the events in Kirkleven Castle.

Other filming locations were from behind the small graveyard looking across to the A87 and Loch Duich, plus on the causeway next to the small graveyard. These were seen as the bus taking the travellers journeyed to the church.
