Doomsday was filmed in both Scotland and South Africa and at times it is hard to tell which is which. But now the first scene in Doomsday which is obviously Scotland appears.

After the events in the forest where Kane's executioner Telamon is first seen ("You don’t see that every day") an aerial shot shows the group heading towards Kane's castle. Filmed at the western end of Loch Katrine in the Trossachs looking over some islands.

Not having the use of a helicopter an image of the view is shown below taken from Google Earth.
