The first view of Kane's (Malcolm McDowell) castle in Doomsday is from high up overlooking a loch. This was filmed at the eastern end of Loch Katrine in the Trossachs with the castle itself being special effects.
An image of the view is shown below taken from Google Earth. The castle replaced the larger and nearest of the islands with the area between it and the trees on the headland (Am Priosan) also being CGI. |
