On their journey searching for the Eagle in the movie of the same title, Marcus Flavius Aquila (Tatum Channing) and Esca (Jamie Bell) stop for a while and look over a sumptuous vista of mountains stretching into the distance.

These scenes were filmed closeby the transmitter mast at the top of Bealach na Ba (Pass of the Cattle) near Applecross, one of the highest roads in the UK which ascends to over 620 metres. The access track to the mast provides an easy walk across to the filming location. There is space to park a few park a few cars beside the Applecross road opposite the gate to the transmitter track and from there it is 1.5km to the filming location.
