Rob Roy has scenes shot in Glen Coe, Glen Nevis, Rannoch Moor, and
elsewhere. Many of the internal scenes (including the two indoor
swordfight scenes were filmed in a large barn on the outskirts of the
city in what is now the Perth Equestrian Centre.
The movie has recently been released on Blu-ray and is a very worthwhile upgrade from the previous rather poor DVD.
