The McGregor cottage seen at the end of Rob Roy was built near Glen Tarbert. The Rob Roy DVD insert states that British Army helicopters were used to fly the cottage in pieces to the location. However, as it then goes on to say that filming took place at Perth, Australia I'd take that information with more than a pinch of salt!
