Emily Watson is seen on some childrens swings with views over Mallaig.

From the Tourist Information Office take the road opposite going up the hill. Near the top of the hill on the right are some school buildings. At the time of visiting the location used in the movie was a building site and access was not possible. Therefore the photograph was taken from the school grounds to the left and slightly behind the filming location.

The scenes with Emily Watson going out to the fishing boats were filmed at Mallaig Harbour and out at sea nearby.
