Complicity (2000)
|
 Based on an Ian Banks novel, Complicity was filmed in a variety of
locations across Scotland. It was released in the USA as Retribution. Made to a large extent with National Lottery funding Complicity did very badly at the box office due to unjustified panning by the critics. Complicity is a very watchable mix of sex, drugs, gratitious blood and gore, an OK thriller with some nice location filming and listenable soundtrack. Plus it stars Johnny Lee Miller, Bill Paterson and Brian Cox. What more do you want from a Scottish movie?! I like it.
